ABOUT ME

RICK CHROMEY is professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY.  In nearly a quarter century of professional youth ministry, Chromey has served churches and colleges as a youth and children’s pastor, professor and trainer. 

 Currently a doctoral candidate at George Fox Seminary (D.Min., Leadership in the Emerging Culture), Chromey is a graduate of Nebraska Christian College (BSc., 1986) and Cincinnati Christian University (M.R.E., 1992). 

 He has authored two books including Youth Ministry in Small Churches (1990) and The Children’s Ministry Guide to the Smaller Church (1995) and contributed to several works, including The Youth Bible and 21^st Century Children’s Ministry (Group 2006).  He’s also frequently published in The Christian Standard and Children’s Ministry Magazine (where he currently pens the Ages 10-12 Insights column).

 He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, music and motorcycles.
